As an ecclesiastical leader of a religious congregation in Washington DC, I have many elderly members who have lived in the same Washington DC rowhouse their entire lives. You can imagine that, after decades, many of them have roofing problems. One elderly woman was having problems with her roof leaking and saw another company working in the neighborhood. She asked him to take a look at her roof and he said it was completely shot, could not be repaired and would cost $10,000 for a replacement roof. It turned out that the problem was a simple flashing problem which was fixed in a couple of hours at a cost of $480.00. This is an honest, responsive company that I would recommend to anyone I know. When the job was completely finished, he asked me how much the other estimate was. When he found out, he was furious that someone would try to take advantage of an elderly, inexperienced woman by overcharging her by almost double as well as telling her she needed a whole new roof when her problem was easily resolved by a simple repair.

Great work. After contacting several unresponsive roofing companies to repair damage to due the blizzard of 2010 (and a prior shoddy job), a neighbor referred me to Denchfield Roofing. The owner took my call, was extremely knowledgable and responsive. He had his crew out in a week to repair a complicated, damaged area. They replaced decking, installed an ice/water barrier, reshingled, cut new fascia board and were careful enough to reuse the existing gutters. Very impressed with the workmanship, the care the crew took on repairing the damage, and the clean-up. They completed the job the way you'd hope a professional would do it.
