3 Most Important Aspects of a Roof System

Workmanship

Quality WORKMANSHIP is Denchfield Roofing Corporation’s #1 priority. This priority is demonstrated by our thousands of roofs still in service in the metro area. Over 100 of our customers were interviewed by Value Star with an over 98% good or excellent rating. We believe this rating shows our dedication to emergency service, permanent repairs and new roofs, as well as the outstanding follow-up and exceptional warranties we strive to give to all of our customers.

For six consecutive years (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006), the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) consisting of over 5000 contractor members and manufacturers has recognized six of Denchfield Roofing Corporation foreman as their MVP (Most Valuable Player) Foreman of the Year. These foremen were selected from the entire South Atlantic region of the US, the largest of the ten regions from which the foreman are chosen for their workmanship, leadership and team building abilities. This region includes roofing contractors in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, DC.

Denchfield Roofing Corporation was chosen as the #1 Commercial Roofing Contractor of the Year in the US by RSI (Roofing Siding Insulation) Magazine, a national trade magazine. They were also selected Roofing Contractor of the Year by VARC (Virginia Association of Roofing Contractors). Denchfield Roofing Corporation was inducted into the RSI Hall of Fame in 1990 and, in June of 2002, Randy Denchfield was honored to become a member of the VARC Hall of Fame.

Randy Denchfield currently serves on 2007-2008 CertainTeed’s Professional Roofer Advisory Council.

Materials

The results of the following study validates our unique combination of superior materials and specifications which provide our customers with the most durable, efficient and cost-savings roof system:

National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and Mid West Roofing Contractors Association’s (MRCA) “Study of Modified Bitumen Membranes” found that a single layer of multiple-reinforced modified bitumen will perform 25 plus years. It weighs approximately one fifth of a built up roof with gravel and one tenth of single-ply membranes with ballast. Some of the advantages of modified bitumen membrane are its ease of inspection, repair and installing another modified bitumen membrane over the existing roof saving significant labor, materials and refuse cost.

Specifications

Last, but not least, we use the very best specifications for the particular job:

Randy Denchfield has 10-years on-the-job roofing experience and almost 40 years experience in the roofing industry. This knowledge enables him to identify the weakest points on a roof and recommend specifications to reinforce these stress areas. These facts, in turn, helps ensure that the roof system reaches its designed longevity. Also, writing the best specifications for the job results in the lowest life cycle costs.

Our specification of offering the best manufacturers’ warranty attributed to our being selected to install 65,000 square feet of roof on Laurel Mall.
